We'll discuss welcome and unwanted advice, unusual detours, sports and activities in exotic locations and just desserts. Grammar looked at will include present and past modals of ability, articles and quantifiers, as well as verb patterns. Materials will be provided in the course.
Themes will include tabloid journalism, changing attitudes towards tattoos, fast food and gourmet dining. We’ll also discuss the concept of luxury and the price of progress. Among the grammar topics addressed will be comparatives and word order when using adjectives.

All materials are provided by the teacher.
