Info boxes

The senior network info boxes

The "Seniorennetz Berlin" helps older people to use the internet and find offers in Berlin. In addition to this internet platform and the tablet courses, the info boxes are also part of the project.

The Seniorennetz Info Boxes are available for older people without their own end device, Wi-Fi connection or previous digital knowledge. These were created for the project and contain a tablet and a printer. Here, the technology can be tried out alone or with support and the platform can be explored. The info boxes are barrier-free.

With the info boxes, the "Seniorennetz Berlin" has been selected by the Digital Pakt Alter initiative of the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Seniorenorganisationen (BAGSO) as a place of learning and experience in Germany.

Who are the info boxes for?

All older people in Berlin can use the info boxes. Without a tablet, smartphone, computer or internet connection at home, they can access the internet through the info boxes. Older people who are not very familiar with using a tablet can also use the info boxes.
