Dialogue event: Digital Afterlife - memory and grief with KI

Bookmark
What if the deceased could suddenly answer again? How does KI change our memory?
  • Dialogue with experts from politics, science and civil society

Memories can already be kept alive with the help of digital media. However, artificial intelligence goes one step further: it can imitate voices, language and even personality traits of the deceased. This opens up new, so far hardly imaginable ways of remembering, mourning and dealing with loss.

On October 1, we will celebrate the International Day of the Elderly. On the occasion of this day, we invite you, together with exciting guests from politics, science and civil society, to explore the opportunities and risks of "afterlife" technologies, to discuss ethical and psychological perspectives and to create room for critical reflection.

Can so-called "Deadbots" help survivors deal with the loss? Or do they make it difficult to say goodbye?
