For those interested in the Federal Voluntary ServiceAre you over 27 years old and would like to get involved in the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) in a non-profit organization? Then get in touch with us! The AWO is one of the largest providers of voluntary services in Berlin. We have been arranging placements in Berlin and Brandenburg since 2011. The BFD gives people of all ages the opportunity to get involved in a non-profit cause, e.g. in daycare centers, community centers, facilities for seniors or people with disabilities. It is suitable for experienced people with and without disabilities. Seniors are also welcome! The work is possible full-time or part-time, but at least 20.5 hours per week. During the BFD you are covered by social insurance and receive pocket money. It is not a voluntary position.
