This course makes you familiar with the basic knowledge of computer and laptop components. You will know the use of keyboard and mouse as well as the interface of desktop, Taskbar Explorer (file tray).
Content: Introduction
in working with windows
the creation of folders
the creation and storage of small documents
the first steps of text formatting, such as writing, colors and alignment
copy, move and paste
Paste and edit images and tables
saving documents as PDF
copying files to a USB stick
Security measures such as virus protection and safe settings
the use of Internet browsers and search engines
the adaptation of browser settings and the creation of bookmarks
the search for information, such as connections and travel information
the basics of online shopping and security measures
watching videos on YouTube and using media counters.
Other priorities:
the setting up and use of e-mail accounts
sending and receiving e-mails
the sending of attachments
managing the e-mail post
the recognition and avoidance of spam mails.
Between the different themes, there is regular room for individual questions and personal concerns of the participants to ensure that you can all improve their digital skills and master their everyday life independently even at an advanced age.
