Lichtblick Seniorenhilfe e.V.

If the pension is not enough to fill the fridge, pay the electricity bill or pay for medication, Lichtblick Seniorenhilfe e.V. helps quickly and unbureaucratically. The association supports elderly people throughout Germany whose pension is not enough to live on.

It all began in 2003 with 70 people in need - today, Lichtblick Seniorenhilfe provides financial support to over 31,000 pensioners for the rest of their lives. Giving them back hope, dignity and a bit of quality of life.

Lichtblick helps quickly, unbureaucratically and with a lot of heart:
- Immediate help for urgently needed items, such as glasses or utility costs
- Food vouchers so that they can shop independently
- Monthly sponsorships for small wishes, such as a coffee or a Christmas present
- Social events to combat loneliness

The pensioners who are supported by Lichtblick must be over 60 years old, receive a German pension and
receive housing benefit or basic income support in old age or have a small pension that is just above the assessment threshold for
social benefits.

This important work is only possible thanks to donations. Every contribution counts to fight poverty in old age together.
