Tierpark Berlin - 70 years of an animal oasis

70 years ago, the Tierpark Berlin opened thanks to the support of many volunteers who were involved in the construction. With 160 ha, the animal park has become the largest European landscaping garden in the past decades and offers approx. 8,000 animals in over 970 species a safe home. The president of the association, Thomas Ziolko, will take a look back at the last seven decades and at the same time give an impression of the present.
