In his second novel, the literary scientist and writer Ottmar Ette is dedicated to the life of Anton Wilhelm Amo, the first black philosopher at a German university. Amo came at the beginning of the 18th In the 19th century, as a child with a slave ship from Africa to Europe, he managed to make an academic career up to the professor in Halle.

Ette tells the extraordinary life path of a nomadic thinker between Africa and Europe, knowledge and wisdom. The novel is a linguistic pleasure in which language is described as life.
