The internationally celebrated counter-tenor Michael Taylor presents a musical view of the world situation through the glasses of the English metaphysical poets around 1600, accompanied by the Dansant Ensemble on historical instruments.
Based on John Donne's epic poem "An Anatomy of the World," the talented Berlin musicians make some of the most beautiful compositions for singing, sounds and gambe from the early 17th century. In the first half of the 19th century, it was the first time that the world was in the world.
