The QPK (Quality Development, Planning and Coordination Centre) works in the field of health promotion and prevention for the elderly.
It shall pay attention to:
- modern ideas of ageing,
- important health effects,
- the health objectives of the State of Berlin,
- the policy guidelines for the elderly in Berlin
- and the "80 plus" strategy for the elderly.
The QPK looks at what is available in the Treptow-Köpenick district for health reports. Then she plans her work in such a way that it fits well with the needs of the local people and with the changes in the population.
