The Com-zen is committed to the diverse interests of the elderly with a migration history in the areas of the care and care of the elderly in Berlin. It helps to identify and reduce existing barriers to access, especially in these areas. It aims to improve the social participation of older migrants in general.

The Commission shall inform, sensitize, network and advise institutions for the care of the elderly, policy and administration, as well as important multipliers, including:
* Intercultural skills
* Anti-discrimination and anti-racism
* Digital health skills

New priorities have been transculturality and empowerment since 2023.
