Berliner Seniorenwoche 2026
Every year, the Senate Department for Labour, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination organizes the Berlin Seniors' Week. Within one week, numerous events are offered in all Berlin districts especially for senior citizens.
The fixed program of the Seniors' Week includes the ceremonial opening and the "Market of Opportunities" information exchange. Organizations, associations and institutions present their offers for older people in Berlin.
The Senior Citizens' Week brings together offers for older Berliners and draws attention to a new topic every year.
Die Berliner Seniorenwoche 2026
The 52nd Berlin Seniors' Week will take place from June 27 to July 4, 2026 under the motto "Our experience counts.".
The opening event on June 27, 2026 will be held at the Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek. This will be followed by the Market of Opportunities. There, various institutions, organizations and associations will present their offers specifically geared towards older people.
In addition, a varied program awaits you throughout Berlin during the entire week.

Die für Soziales zuständige Senatsverwaltung informiert: Die Eröffnungsveranstaltung der Berliner Seniorenwoche am 27. Juni 2026 muss wegen der erwarteten extremen Hitze abgesagt werden.
Wegen der hohen Temperaturen wird die Durchführung der Veranstaltung insbesondere für ältere Menschen als nicht ausreichend sicher bewertet. Die Gesundheit und das Wohlbefinden aller Teilnehmenden stehen an erster Stelle.

Alle Veranstaltungen auf einen Blick
The weekly program of the 52nd Berlin Seniors' Week starts on 27 June and lasts until 4 July 2026. There is a wide range of activities on offer: readings, neighbourhood meetings, technology consultations, jewelry workshops and more.

Good to know:
- Some offers do not only take place during the Seniors' Week, but are continued on a regular basis. These are marked accordingly in the brochure.
- In the middle of the brochure, you will also find practical information and tips for older people. This part can be torn out and used permanently.
