Their senior representation represents, bundles and coordinates the interests, interests and rights of older people in the district

- the District Office and other authorities,
- the District Assembly,
- parties and associations,
- senior free-time, sports, education, culture, health, care and care facilities and their institutions and advisory councils,
- the BVG and the S-Bahn-Berlin as public transport and other services.

Every 5 years, linked to the term of office of the Berlin House of Representatives, elections are held to represent the elderly in Neukölln.
