With the AWO AktivMobil, the AWO Landesverband Berlin e.V. is bringing an innovative offer directly to the people: A mobile meeting place for anyone aged 60 and over who enjoys games and/or activities and making new contacts.
Because we believe that people stay young because they play!
The AWO AktivMobil is a lovingly designed vehicle. It contains lots of play, exercise and entertainment materials. Whether alone or in a group - our offer invites you to join in, laugh, try things out and be part of it.
Unser Ziel: Spielerisch Gemeinschaft erleben
The AktivMobil is more than just entertainment on wheels - it is a symbol of solidarity and togetherness. We create adventure spaces. We promote mental and physical activity. We strengthen social cohesion. Especially in challenging times, our mobile creates lightness.
Our mobile operations take place on site in public spaces. For example, in courtyards, green spaces or parking lots. During the cold season, we transform suitable low-barrier spaces into lively (play) spaces.
Für wen ist das AWO AktivMobil gedacht?
- For people (around 60+) who want to enjoy company, exchange ideas, get active or simply experience something new - regardless of mobility or previous experience.
- For volunteers, who want to get involved in a generation-friendly project with heart and commitment.
- For cooperation partners such as associations, neighborhood initiatives, housing associations, care facilities and more who want more participation and activity for their target groups.
Buchung und Kooperationen
Our offer is donation-based and without participation fees for users. This means that the offer remains accessible to everyone - even those on a small pension.
The AWO AktivMobil can be booked by institutions, clubs, local authorities, housing associations and other interested parties - on a donation basis/by arrangement.
Our activities are supervised by dedicated trainers and volunteers.
